Keeping Ourselves Safe: Fire Drill

What should we do if there’s a fire?

During the first few weeks of school, 1/2N talked about different school emergency plans. We discussed what we should do if there is a fire or fire drill. Many of our classmates remembered being taught what to do during these situation as wrote a list of instructions as follow:

When the alarm sounds off

  1. Stay calm and listen to the teacher.
  2. Make sure the windows closed
  3. Quickly and quietly line up at the door in roll order (don’t take anything with you)
  4. Walk quickly and safely to the meeting spot.

Here is a video clip to show you some of the other things we may need to keep in mind when there’s a fire or fire drill.
